It had been three weeks now since I first sow seedlings indoor. So you must be wondering now what progress looks like. Has the urban meal farmer’s laundry room turned into a kudzoo of greens?
I can’t blame you for wondering if I had been overtaken by some monstrous outgrowth of soft green things – after all, I been away from writing about it for almost just as long.
So here to update you, a picture of what’s grown so far. The seeds had germinated and some had grown to about an inch now.
I hear you. Exclaiming, what! Just an inch?
Don’t think I’m not disappointed – I looked at it everyday thinking why hasn’t this room turn into the hanging garden of babylon yet!
But patience. Gardening requires a lot of care and gentle cultivation. In the mean time, I must also think ahead and prepare the yard for transplanting.
I did some work “cutting” my grasses in the front yard today to prep for the eventual transplant. I’ll share with you those images tomorrow.
So tune in tomorrow, to see how an Asian-American cuts his lawn. You won’t want to miss that episode!
